How We Like To Work @collective.digital
Before you choose us to create a bespoke website for your business, it’s important that you’re clued up and content with how we work at Collective Creative. So we’ve outlined each stage of our process below. If you’d like to know more about how we work to produce high-quality, custom-built websites, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to provide more information. If you’re not looking for a bespoke website, have a look at our build-your-own website service for a low-cost, DIY alternative.
Agreeing the Brief
To get the ball rolling, we’ll arrange a meeting where we’ll talk you through the different options we can provide. You’ll be asked to complete a brief design questionnaire to give us an idea about your company and what you’d like from your website. We’ll then write the brief together. Next, we’ll provide an estimated cost for the work needed. If you’re happy with the quote, we’ll agree on a contract whereby work is paid for in monthly instalments. At this point, we’ll request that the deposit is paid before any work commences.
Design & Build
Next, we’ll create a design based on this research for you to review. We can make unlimited changes and will work alongside you until you are ready to sign off on the design. It’s a good idea to make sure that you are definitely happy with the final design – as once we move into the building stage, further design changes may be subject to an additional charge. The build begins once the design has been agreed. For this stage of the process, we take the signed-off design and code it for a website that is compatible across all devices and screen sizes. At this point of the process, we will ask you to provide written content for each web page, unless you are using our online copywriting service.
Launch & Beyond
Once we are in agreement that it’s ready, we will put the website live. If the website is being transferred to an existing domain name owned by you, we will work out the best options for configuration. And whether it is a new or old domain, we will always let Google know that your site needs to be re-indexed following changes to its structure and content. Beyond the launch of your website, we will be to offer as much or as little support as you need. If you want any future updates/additional functionality added to your site, these will be charged at an hourly rate, unless otherwise agreed. We can also provide services to help promote your website and business online through our tiered SEO packages as well as our standalone online advertising services.
